The selection process for NIELIT Gangtok certificate courses is based on the candidates' achieved scores in their Class 12 or equivalent. The basic eligibility criteria required by the institute to get admission into certification courses completely depends on the type of courses the candidate wants to pursue (course-wise eligibility criteria is mentioned in the above section). Moreover, the selection process is based on merit, which is evaluated based on candidates' achieved scores in their last qualifying examination.

Additionally, the tuition fee for certificate courses at NIELIT Gangtok ranges from INR 1,000 to INR 25,000. Hence, it clearly can be seen that NIELIT Delhi is more affordable than NIELIT Gangtok for certificate courses. However, the fee structure can be only one component that candidates consider while comparing institutes, but several factors can be taken into account while choosing the best institute, such as placement packages, seats, ranking of that particular institute, affiliation, accreditation, etc.

The total number of seats allocated to the all-certificate course at NIELIT Gangtok is not available on the official website of the institute. Usually, the institute offers 60 seats in short-term courses. The total number of seats offered for the certificate in data entry and office automation is 60.

Yes, NIELIT Gangtok does offer seat reservations for certification courses. Moreover, the institute follows seat reservations according to the Government of India's reservation policies. Check out the number of seats reserved for the reserved categories below:
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 15%
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5%
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 27%
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 10%
