The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process is used by SKR Engineering College in Chennai to admit students to its B.E./B.Tech programs. A minimum of 45% in 10+2 Physics, Chemistry, and Math is required for eligibility. Marks from the qualifying exam are taken into consideration during the merit-based selection process.

To be eligible for B.E./B.Tech admission at SKR Engineering College, the applicant should have completed the 10+2 level with subject combination Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with an aggregate of at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) from any recognised board.
Admission to the B.E./B.Tech courses is mainly through TNEA counseling based on merit in 10+2, which is held by Anna University. The candidates have to register for TNEA and select SKR Engineering College while filling choices.
