Everything is good in itself, but you have to know what you want to do. Some people like to do sound and video works and some like to do web design and development. But you will get success only when you are having interest in that, so first observe yourself and the field. Find yourself ask questions to yourself what you want, your like and dislikes, your passion and quality of your work is good in which field. When you will try to find yourself, you will get success or else if you are wasting your time finding others and their mistakes, you will get negativity and depression. This all applied when you like to work for yourself not for money. But when you come to the point of money, you have to check which option is having a good pay scale and is having more requirements in the field. So, according to me sound and video editing option is better, because in the industry you will find hundreds of companies for web design and development and thousands of employees in this field but in the field of sound and editing, situation is different. There are less number of people for sound and video editing.

Once considered as just a fad in India, it slowly staked its claim as a viable career with multiple options and good money to make. All you need is to have an ear for music, be well versed with cueing, equalization and audio-mixing, beat-matching, scratching and beat juggling.
A wannabe DJ must also have an outgoing personality, ability to mix with people and know their mood. He must be well versed with the music in vogue I. e. the hit songs, how to make them trendy by mixing them up etc. Depending on your credentials and experience, a stint at an event can earn a DJ anything between Rs 30,000 - Rs 70,000 per night.
There also several DJs who are employed full-time in the broadcast and hospitality industry. Salaries here vary between Rs 3 Lacs - Rs 8 Lacs per annum, depending on experience and popularity. Speaking about Electronic Music Production course, yes it is a also a good career option. Infact it is more extensive and elaborates course but the career opportunities are less. Also, very few institutes offer the course.

I would say sound engineering is a better option as it is an extensive course and has better job opportunities than a DJ certificate course. Sound engineering is a challenging field, yet very rewarding. Sound Engineers develop a high quality recording of music, speech and sound effects in studios. They use technical instruments to produce sound for film, radio, television. The potential for growth is huge for a sound engineer. Career opportunities for sound engineer and technicians are available in various fields like radio stations, tv channels, studios, multimedia design, animation, advertising firms, movies and more. One can opt for specialised courses in technical skills such as sequencing, mastering, editing and recording. With proper experience, he / she can become studio managers as well.
