If possible go through the alumni speak section to get an idea what the alumni thinks about the institute. However, we can help you with the parameters that you can keep in mind while choosing an institute. You can consider the below parameters :

7) Success Rate.
8) Placement

Dear gauarv ! this is an excellent university but there are better private universities that provide assured placement.some of these institutes are:
1.Lovely Professional University
2.Symbiosis
3.KIIT
i have heard that Lovely Professional University venture in their students unmatched entrepreneurial skills that makes their students easily employable.even this university provides an excellent platform to showcase your skils.

you can apply admission in SRM university through online. but SRM online admissions are closed. SRMJEEE is the only option through merit. otherwise contact SRM director for direct admissions. it cost a donation fee about 5~15 lacks and may vary. but my opinion is to get into other than SRM. its very costly. now direct admission is the only way. good luck

You have to go to the college in admission shell and there you have to fill admission form after their certain criteria like board percentage. If you are are a eligible candidate then they will allow your admission.
