As per St. Xavier's University 2023 placement data, the university was able to place 100% of students participating in the placement drive held in 2023. Moreover, the the highest salary offered to participating students stood at INR 20 LPA. Other than this, the median package offered during the same drive stood at INR 8 LPA.

Yes, a BMLT graduate can pursue an M.Sc. in Microbiology from St. Xavier's College. Definitely Yes, you can apply for Msc in Microbiology after BMLT.
For better job opportunites i would suggest you to pursue 3 years MSc in Medical Microbiology as it has self empolyement opportunities as well.
But you may have to fall under some eligibility requirements that is:
1) A bechelor's degree in a relevant subject such as microbiology and biology.
2) You must have a minimum marks of 55% in your BMLT

This qualifying test will be eligible for admission into St. Xavier's College for the academic year 2024-25. Several undergraduate degrees at St. Xavier's College require an entrance test commonly referred to as Xavier's Entrance Test or XET.
