IIM and Harvard Business Schools are elite in different contexts. IIM, especially in the locations in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, is best for excelling in India's Cooperate world, and is comparatively affordable than HBS. Some of the most sought after colleges in USA, that are also elite schools are called Ivy League schools. Why they are called Ivy League, is because this term originated from inter-college athletic rivalries and traditions of planting ivy. This term "Ivy League" was used first in 1933, which later became official. Finally becoming an official athletic conference in 1954.

Both Harvard Business School and Wharton offer elite programs to international students. Students must choose between the two based on their career goals, industry, and learning style. Students who are seeking programs in Finance and Investment Banking must go with Wharton, whereas for Entrepreneurship, Harvard is better. Harvard University is better for leadership roles in the public /private sectors, whereas Wharton is good for quantitative or data-driven roles.

Technically, Stanford University is located on the West Coast of USA, however, all Ivy League schools are located in the Northeast of USA. Hence, this is the reason why Stanford is not a part of Ivy League. Even when a lot factors match - like low acceptance rate at Stanford, importance for extracurriculars and other coincinding parameters, Stanford is not an Ivy League.

The Part 1 of the PTE exam comprises of 10 different question types (including the Personal Introduction which is not scored). The number of questions asked on the PTE exam for each question type varies, except the "Personal Introduction", for which there is only 1 questio/prompt. The total number of questions that will be asked on Part 1 of the PTE exam post the declaration of the major update is not sure yet as the conducting body, Pearson PTE, is yet make an announcement for the same.
Additionally, you do not get a score for personal introduction; however this is shared with your chosen universities abroad along with your score repo
