There is no strict dress code for the IELTS exam. You should wear comfortable and appropriate clothes, such as t-shirt and jeans or smart casuals. Avoid anything too light, flashy, or with offensive graphics. It's a good idea to bring a light jacket in case of the exam room is cold. Dressing neatly helps you feel confident and relaxed.

It depends on your profession, your contacts and financial status either in India or abroad. Travelling seems to be cheap everywhere if you use public transport services like bus, train, etc. but if you use taxis or rented car, etc. It will be costly.
Same goes for hotels and restaurants, there are cheap and costly everywhere. It depends on your requirements and your financial status.

The UK student visa generally has a high success rate. The success rate of the UK student visa application tend to remain above 90%. This means that only a very small number of applications are rejected; hence, the UK becomes one of the top choices to study abroad.
However, with the changing visa trends, things will now be tough for Indian students as the UK Visa and Immigration Policies are imposing stricter rules and requirements for getting a student visa in the UK. Also, the UK Home Office aims to reduce the legal post-study work period to up to 18 months post completion of studies.
