With the Fairfield University acceptance rate of 52%, the university is moderately selective to get into. Also, the Sacred Heart University acceptance rate stands at 66%, which indicates that the university selects only 66/100 applicants on average. Hence, both universities are moderately competitive when it comes to admissions.

Students must excel in academics in order to boost their chances os securing admission to either of the universities. Apart from this, students who are outstanding in activities outside class also stand a good chance to secure an admission.

Getting part-time jobs at Georgia College is manageable. Students are paid bi-weekly for actual hours worked. International students are not eligible for FWS and they can only work in "college work-study" positions such as positions in the library, bookstore, computer lab, and dining hall. Students are permitted to work on campus up to 20 hours a week while school is in session. The approximate pay that students get is $7/hour.
