Indian students applying for a student visa to study in the USA at Stanford University need a set of documents, which include a current passport, preferably with at least 6 months validity from the date of entry to the USA, and an I-20 form issued by Stanford University along with a properly filled DS-160 form. Apart from this, candidates must show that they will be financially supported while studying, for example with bank statements or a scholarship award letter, to cover tuition fees for an approximate amount of USD 57,259 (after conversion, roughly INR 46 lakhs) per year and living expenses of about USD 18,341 (after conversion, roughly INR 15 lakhs) yearly. Academic transcripts, standardized test scores, and a visa application fee of USD 160 (around INR 13,000) are also necessary. 

Newcastle University London attracts Indian students for a variety of reasons, stating them to be academic excellence, research opportunities, and location. With an international ranking of 146, Newcastle University London provides Bachelor and master's programs in the various fields of Business, Engineering, and Computer Sciences. The university has more than 27,000 students from 120 countries in total, around 400 of whom are from India. The tuition fees for international students are set to range between GBP 19,200 and GBP 30,000 per year, or in Indian rupee terms between approximately INR 19 Lacs and INR 30 Lacs per year. The university provides several scholarships, among which are the Vice Chancellor's International Scholarship that offers a reward of tuition fee waiver of GBP 4,000 to GBP 6,000, or roughly INR 4 Lacs to INR 6 lakhs. 

South Western Sydney Institute of TAFE accepts scores from various English proficiency tests: IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic and Cambridge English. IELTS calls for an overall score of 5.5 or 6.5, with no band lower than 5.0 or 5.5, depending on the course. In the case of TOEFL, scores range from 46 to 60, with course-specific requirements. PTE Academic scores range from 42 to 58, depending on the programme of study. Cambridge English scores range from 162 to 176, depending on the course. All these tests have differences in cost-IELTS costs about AUD 330 (which comes to approximately INR 17,500), TOEFL AUD 300 (approx. INR 16,000), and Academic IELTS about AUD 330 (which comes to approximately INR 17,500). 

There are several scholarships available for Indian students at ANU, including the ANU International Scholarship that provides 25% to 100% tuition fee waivers (2,900,000 to 13,800,000 Indian Rupees [INR] annually). The ANU College of Business and Economics International Scholarship provides a 50% tuition fee waiver (approximately 6.8 Lacs [Rs. 680,000] annual). The ANU Research School of Computer Science International Scholarship provides an annual stipend of AUD 28,597 (approximately 15,300,000 INR) and is a tuition fee-waiving scholarship. To avail these scholarships, Indian students are required to qualify with a minimum GPA of 5.0 out of 7.0 and make their application via the ANU website, with application deadlines ranging between April 15 to November 15 depending on the scholarship.
