South Western Sydney Institute of TAFE accepts scores from various English proficiency tests: IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic and Cambridge English. IELTS calls for an overall score of 5.5 or 6.5, with no band lower than 5.0 or 5.5, depending on the course. In the case of TOEFL, scores range from 46 to 60, with course-specific requirements. PTE Academic scores range from 42 to 58, depending on the programme of study. Cambridge English scores range from 162 to 176, depending on the course. All these tests have differences in cost-IELTS costs about AUD 330 (which comes to approximately INR 17,500), TOEFL AUD 300 (approx. INR 16,000), and Academic IELTS about AUD 330 (which comes to approximately INR 17,500). 

There are several scholarships available for Indian students at ANU, including the ANU International Scholarship that provides 25% to 100% tuition fee waivers (2,900,000 to 13,800,000 Indian Rupees [INR] annually). The ANU College of Business and Economics International Scholarship provides a 50% tuition fee waiver (approximately 6.8 Lacs [Rs. 680,000] annual). The ANU Research School of Computer Science International Scholarship provides an annual stipend of AUD 28,597 (approximately 15,300,000 INR) and is a tuition fee-waiving scholarship. To avail these scholarships, Indian students are required to qualify with a minimum GPA of 5.0 out of 7.0 and make their application via the ANU website, with application deadlines ranging between April 15 to November 15 depending on the scholarship. 

An average Indian student can join up Zhejiang University; however, the admission requirements possess competitiveness and rigor in the selection process. For undergraduate programs, the minimum requirement for 12th standard exams is at least a 70% to 80% score. Further, knowledge in Science and mathematics is required. The language of instruction in the university is English; thus, prospective students need an IELTS score minimum of 6.0 or TOEFL score of 80. The fees vary for foreign students, i.e., from CNY 20000 to CNY 40000 per year or, around 2.2 Lacs to 4.4 Lacs INR a year. Every year, Around 2000 foreign students from 110 nations study at Zhejiang University; around 100 of these are Indian students. Meeting the admission criteria and scholarships substantially augments an average Indian student's chances of admission to Zhejiang University. 

Finding part-time jobs while studying at UNSW Sydney can be fairly easy, as there are many jobs both on and off campus. Many students also manage to secure jobs nearby, with suburbs such as Randwick and Kensington racking in hourly wages between AUD 18-25, which is roughly INR 950 to INR 1,300.
