In the world-rankings by a top-ranking publisher, UMass Boston's world ranking is #951-1000 in 2026 and #1001-1200 in 2025. This shows that in the world rankings, this university is ranked better in the current year's QS rankings. In Times Higher Education rankings by 2026, the University of Massachusetts Boston ranking is #112.

International students applying to VIT Mauritius do not have to pay an application fee. A minimum of 55% in PCM subjects in standard XII or its equivalent is required of international students to meet the basic eligibility requirements. Additionally, they must submit the required paperwork, which includes their high secondary English language proficiency, their 11th grade mark sheet (AS Level/Form V), their 12th grade mark sheet (A Level/Form VI), and proof of age and nationality in the form of a passport, birth certificate, or other national ID.
