The unweighted reported GPA for NC State University Fall 2024 students is 3.74 – 3.97. Whereas, the weighted GPA is 4.18 – 4.48. As a general practice, to take admission to this university, the applicants should aim to achieve a GPA of 3.9 for UG courses. Graduate applicants must aim to have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Additionally, do submit the application materials as required such as academic transcripts, proof of English language proficiency, proof of financial ability, etc.

NC State University is a public R1 institution. This R1 designation is classified as a doctoral university with a very research activity. This university is one vertex in the Research Triangle, maintaining close ties to Duke University and UNC Chapel Hill. The Centennial campus at NC State University is a hothouse for innovation and one of the premier research campuses in North America. This university ranks at #6 in research expenditures nationally for universities without a medical school as per National Science Foundation. 

B Tech programs at VIT Mauritius are one of the best programs to pursue. Data science, Computer Engineering with a focus on AI and Machine Learning, Civil Engineering, and other fields are among the most sought-after specializations. The approximate cost of tuition for these programs is INR 5L. In the PCM subjects of standard XII or its equivalent, students must receive an aggregate score of at least 55%. Among other things, they have to make sure that students attend English-medium schools or that English language instruction is required at the upper secondary level.

There is no application fee for international students to apply to VIT Mauritius. International students must fulfill the basic eligibility by holding a minimum aggregate of 55% in the PCM subjects in standard XII or its equivalent, and submit the necessary documents including a proof of Age and Nationality through a passport, birth certificate, or any other national ID, 11^th grade Mark sheet /AS Level/ Form V, 12^th grade Mark sheet /A Level/ Form VI and English language at the high secondary level.

VIT Mauritius provides world-class education, research, innovation, and develops industry-ready professionals and entrepreneurs. It offers over 200 programs across disciplines. Some of which are Computer Engineering with specialisation in Data Science, Computer Engineering with specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Civil Engineering, and Computer Engineering, and more. The VIT Mauritius tuition is around INR 5 L for these programs.

IIT is more popular than VIT Mauritius. IIT is well known for its academic offerings, research opportunities, and strong alumni networks. On the other hand, VIT Mauritius is quite a new campus of VIT and may not have the same establishments and reputation. In addition, the cost to pursue B.Tech programs at IIT is way cheaper than VIT Mauritius due to the government funding.
