The University of British Columbia campus life is full of vibrancy & inclusivity, with students welcoming their peers with open arms. The availability of student clubs & societies, ensure that there are ample opportunities to interact & engage in friendly competitive activities such as hackathons, cooking competitions, etc.

The institute takes the mental & physical well-being of its students, very seriously, & as a result offers a number of student support clubs that offer academic as well as guidance related to mental health.

No, UBC, is not an Ivy League institute, as it is based in Canada. The Ivy League only comprises of colleges & universities from the United States, & as a result UBC is not eligible to be considered in that group.

However, it still maintains a great academic environment, & many prominent publications, consider it a part of the "Canadian Ivys", an unofficial name given to some of the best institutions in Canada.
