The CSUDH Middle Class Scholarship (MCS) allows UG students, including those pursuing a teaching credential, financial aid to attend a California State University (CSU) or University of California (UC) campus.

Students with a family income below USD 201,000 (INR 1.72 Cr) are eligible for financial aid as per the program.

The scholarship is offered a duration of four academic years.

Among them Carmelita Jeter, is the most popular Olympian to have pursued her education from the institute. She graduated with a BA in 2006, & went on to achieve the tag of the “the fastest Woman Alive”, after setting a record time of 10.67s in the 100m race at the 2009 Shanghai Golden Grand Prix.

Yes, first-year (freshmen) students are required to live as part of on-campus accommodation, within the university maintained residence halls.

Freshmen students are not allowed to live as part of the on-campus apartments. Living there is only limited to seniors (2^nd year or above).
