Midwestern State University s known for it's focus on hands-on experince and supportive campus, the acceptance rate at this university stands at 87% meaning that out of every 100 application, 87 students were rolled out an offer letter which makes it an easy university to get into. There are intakes available to apply for UG courses which are Fall, Spring, and Summer. The students are expected to gather all the documents required before applying on the Common App for applying to the MSU PG courses and apply through the official website of the university for the PG courses. For the year 2026, the students can now apply for Summer and Fall Intake.

  • Next application deadline for UG students is Oct 1, 2026.

International students can apply for co-op work permit if:

  • Students have a valid permit,
  • Work is required to complete the study programme in Canada,
  • Your co-op placement or internship totals 50% or less of your study program,
  • You have a letter from your school that confirms all students in your programme need to complete work placements to get the degree

There is no fee required to attain a co-op work permit. Documents required for the co-op work placement are a letter of acceptance, a letter of enrollment, a co-op letter, a valid passport, biometrics, or any other document that the portal asks.

At the time of co-op placement, Camosun College students are required to complete at least two work terms (minimum 420 hours each) to graduate with 'co-op' designation. Do check the checklist for co-op education for international students. Co-op education formally integrates a student's academic studies within a workplace or practice setting. Check the list of programs that are applicable for co-op education.

It can be considered a little expensive yet still affordable in comparison with other universites in the USA. The Midwestern State University tuition fees for international students vary depending on the programme and level of study, For UG courses, the tuition fee for the first year tuition fee ranges between INR 10 and INR 12 L, and for Midwestern State University PG courses, the tuition fee is from INR 11 L and INR 12 L for the first year.
