Solent University residence: The university provides accommodations to international students for which they need a unique reference number to apply. They need to apply before their course starts to get confirmation through emails.

Private housing accreditation scheme (SASSH): Solent has an SASSH private housing scheme that they run in partnership with the University of Southampton and Southampton City Council. The scheme has a list of properties and landlords who follow certain standards.

Letting and Estate Agents: If an international student is hiring an agent to find accommodation, the agent must be signed up to a property redress scheme. The scheme helps both landlord and customer to solve disputes.

The international students must go through the following Solent University admission process:

Register via UCAS portal: International students must apply for BBA admission via UCAS. They must fill out the basic personal information, educational and employment history, and personal statements, choose the subject of their interest, and reference before submitting the application form.

Provide personal statements: Students must provide a written 1000-4000-character statement regarding the details like why they want to join Solent University, what courses they are applying for, reasons why they are choosing the particular subject, do they have any experience for the same, and why they are suitable for doing the course.

Students must adhere to the below Solent University application process for undergraduate admission:

Register for undergraduate UCAS application: To register in UCAS, students must fill out details like starting year of study, level of study, their starting name, middle name, passport details, driving license, and birth certificate.

Add educational/ employment history: Here, students can expect to fill details whether they are still studying somewhere or waiting for the results, or if they didn't finish the course. Also, if they have done any full-time or part-time job along with details like company name, address, job description, and start/finish dates.

Select your course: Students must fill out the course details of their area of interest.

Write personal statement: Here, students need to write a 1000 to 4000-character-long statement about why they want to join Solent University, their reason for choosing the particular course, their experience in that area, and how they are suitable for that course.

Apply: Once you fill out the complete form, review and edit it before submitting.
