The institute was founded in 1754 under the name “King's College” by George II, on the lands of the trinity church in Manhattan. It shifted its base to 49th street & Madison Avenue in 1857 before moving to Morningside Heights in 1897.
The institute got renamed as Columbia University in 1912.

No, getting into the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course at Lincoln University does not require Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores for admission purposes. However, the university requires English language test scores along with the eligibility qualification mentioned below:
Students are required to attain a bachelor's degree or its equivalent with a CGPA of 2.7 (B-) or better on a 4.0 scale
English language test scores of minimum 69, 6.0 and 105 in TOEFL iBT, IELTS and Duolingo English Test (DET) along with other supporting documents.
3 years of work experience is also required for the EMBA course.
