The University of Arizona (UA) accepts IELTS scores as a demonstration of English proficiency for international applicants. 

Minimum Score Requirement: Applicants need a minimum composite score of 7, with no individual section score falling below 6.

Accepted IELTS Exams: The UA recognizes the IELTS Academic, IELTS Online, and IELTS UKVI exams. Please be aware that the IELTS One Skill Retake is not accepted at this time.

Score Submission Process: To submit your scores, you must request the testing center to send them directly to the UA. The testing center will verify your scores before forwarding them to the university, and this process may take at least three weeks.

Ensuring Score Accuracy: Make sure that the name on your test matches the name on your application to guarantee accuracy.

Florida Atlantic University (FAU) has an acceptance rate of about 73–74%, which means that gaining admission is fairly manageable. The university is considered to be less selective and provides three admission cycles: summer, fall, and spring.

- SAT or ACT scores

FAU places a strong emphasis on a student's GPA as a critical academic factor. Among the admitted students who submitted test scores, half achieved an SAT score between 1040 and 1210 or an ACT score ranging from 20 to 26.

Furthermore, FAU does not require or suggest the completion of college preparatory courses or the submission of letters of recommendation during the application process.

Queen's University Belfast is a good option for Indian students for several reasons. Middlesex University London has a 57% acceptance rate, making it competitive for international applicants. The university assesses candidates based on their academic credentials, professional experience, and additional materials such as letters of recommendation, personal statements, and portfolios.

To gain admission, students need to present a strong academic profile and a qualifying GPA. Those applying for undergraduate programs with a GPA of 3.2 or above generally do not have to submit standardized test scores, unless their specific course requires them. Applicants with a GPA of 3.1 or lower must provide SAT scores of at least 550 in each section.

The University at Buffalo (UB) has established specific English language proficiency requirements for international applicants, which differ based on the programme and the type of test taken:

TOEFL: The minimum scores are 79 for the internet-based test (iBT) and 550 for the paper-based test. However, individual departments may have their own minimum score requirements.
IELTS: The minimum score is 6.5, with no individual section score lower than 6.0.
Duolingo English Test (DET): A minimum score of 105 is required.
PTE Academic: The minimum acceptable score is 50.

Applicants who do not meet these minimum scores might still be considered for admission under conditional circumstances.

Non-native English speakers may be required to enroll in English courses, such as Introduction to Academic Writing or Spoken English.
