The main difference between a freelancer and a part-time worker is that the freelancer is not bound to work with a single client and has flexibility in choosing their workplace and number of working hours.

However, part-time employees are bound to a company and are required to pay for their services for a minimum number of prescribed working hours.

The main difference between a freelancer and a contract work employee is that a freelancer can choose the number of hours they wish to work along with the place and the time of work at which they want to work. Freelancers can even choose to work on several projects side-by-side with their main source of income/studies. However, contract employees cannot work on more than 1 project at a time and are bound by their contractor's terms of service of where, when and how long to work.

Yes, you can freelance while studying abroad. Many international students find freelancing to be a great way to earn extra income, gain practical experience, and network with professionals from around the world.

However, it is essential to check your visa status and your university's regulations regarding work authorization.
