The University of North Carolina Wilmington is about 5 miles from Wrightsville Beach. This beach is within the walking distance. This beach is about 10-15 minute drive from UNCW. Also, the Wilmington International Airport (ILM) is only 15 minutes from campus.

The University of North Carolina Wilmington campus size is 650 acre. The main campus of the university is located in the charming coastal city of Wilmington, NC. Also, the campus of this university is widely hailed as one of the most attractive in the South. The campus began with 3 buildings; Alderman, Hoggard, and James Hall, designed in modified Georgian architecture. Till this date, these buildings have a distinctive style.
