Yes, Lakehead University offers Academic English Programs (AEP) to applicants who meet the university's admission requirements but do not meet the English language proficiency requirements. Such students are automatically considered for admission through AEP. Academic English Programs help students meet the English proficiency of IELTS score of 6.5 or TOEFL score of 80, as per course requirements.

All scholls have different requirements for standardized testing. The University of the Pacific requires you to take either the SAT or the ACT to be able to submit an application for admissions. University of the Pacific has alos gone into a test-optional mode, meaning that you can provide a test score if you wish to. However, for international students, the TOEFL, IELTS or the Duolingo English test is needed. However, the SAT score comes handy here. If you have an SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing score of 570, you can do away with the IELTS, TOEFL or the Duolingo test.

Lakehead University's programs comprise of over 65 undergraduate programs, including bachelor and honors bachelor degree programs. In order to secure an admission in the University of the Pacific, all international students (including Indian students) should take the TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English test. However, this requirement can be waived off under the circumstances listed below:

  • SAT Evidence-based Reading and Writing score of 570; OR
  • ACT Composite score of 22 or above.

Apart from this, Indian students also need to complete the online application, present their academic results, SOP, Letter of recommendation, copy of passport, resume, TOEFL score, certified copy of academic transcripts, passport size photographs. Lastly, applicants must go through the requirem
