GMAT/GRE test scores are a necessary document in the admission requirement list for California State University, Los Angeles. A GMAT score of 500 or higher/ GRE 300 or higher must be included for the application to be reviewed.
Other documents required include Bachelor's degree, Resume, 2 Letter of Recommendations, Statement of Purpose and one set of Official Sealed Transcripts sent to the Cal State LA Office.

Cal State LA has a unit named CSU International Programs Scholarships, under which International students can apply for scholarships provided by the university. Additionally, grants are available on the basis of financial need and do not have to be repaid. Sources of grant funds are available through Federal and State Governments. Grants are awarded to students who demonstrate financial need and are prorated based on enrollment. Cal State LA also offers several loans such as Federal Direct Loans, Private Loans, Dream Loan, Nursing Loans and more in order to aid students financially. However, these loans must be repaid by the students.

Local students who complete their license agreement and submit their initial payment by the Intent to Enroll deadline are guaranteed on-campus housing their first year. International students can also stay in the university accommodation, however, they need to communicate it to the authorities prior to joining the university.
