CSU's Career Center suggests students follow the five guidelines during an interview to maximise chances of placement mentioned below-

  • Make an impression with positive language
  • Be truthful but always avoid negative
  • Never talk badly about coworkers or ex supervisors
  • Use diplomatic language
  • Show how you brought about positive change
  • Also mind your nonverbal communication

Yes students can find both on and off campus jobs at CSULA on Handshake. The only conditioned required is that the student must be currently enrolled (not academically disqualified or admitted and registered for next sem/session)

The Career Services at CSULA organizes various events and workshops through Handshake and helps students find short term, paid or remote projects I Parker Dewey. Other services include helping students with their resumes, cover letters and interviews.

CSULA competes at the NCAA Division II. It is also a member of the California Collegiate Atheltic Association. It competes in the 11 intercollegiate sports, including men's and women's basketball, soccer, and track and field, women's cross country, volleyball and tennis, and men's baseball. CSULA has a fitness center and a pool for students.
