A pre-study internship is a mandatory work placement students need to complete for entry to certain UG courses at HFT Stuttgart. It helps students gain hands-on professional experience and basic skills before studies begin.

The internship duration is usually between 2 to 3 months. It is to be completed before studies begin and after having received the university entrance qualification. The internship can be completed in any country.

Note - The university does not help students land the pre-study intern role.

Yes, HFT Stuttgart is worth it for Indian students. Especially for those looking for practical and industry oriented studies in fields like Engineering, IT, and Architecture. It is based in one of the industrial hubs of Germany. It also maintains strong ties with top companies like Bosch, Porsche, and Mercedes. The university uses these connections to provide its students with internship/full-time work opportunities.

No, learning German is not strictly mandatory for entry to all programs at HFT Stuttgart. This is especially true for students applying to English-taught PG courses.

However, most UG programs are taught in German. To pursue them, students do need to provide valid scores in German proficiency tests like TestDAF or DSH.
