The general scholarship deadline at Stuttgart Uni of Applied Sciences is closed for 2026 intake. However, tentative scholarship deadline for the 2027 intake is Apr, 2027.

Yes, certain programs have different tuition costs instead of the usualy EUR 1,500 fee. This includes the Master's in International Project Management and Smart City Solutions Program. Overall tuition fees for both programs is mentioned below:

No, HFT Stuttgart is not free for Indian students. The state of Baden-Wurttemberg allows it to charge tuition fees from non-EU/EEA students unlike other public universities in Germany. However, Stuttgart is still more affordable compared to Munich, and offers a comfortable lifestyle at lower costs to Indian students.

Yes, non-EU/EEA students (including from India) are required to pay tuition fee worth EUR 1,500 (INR 1.66 Lakhs) per semester. In addition to this, students also need to pay a semester fee worth EUR 184.50 (INR 20.5 K).
Indian students can pay the same using bank transfer (wire transfer) via the official HFT Stuttgart fee portal.

Yes, HFT Stuttgart does ranks among the best universities in Germany. It ranks in the top 10 German universities per an unofficial source. It is one of the best public institutions in Germany for practical programs in applied sciences (engineering, architecture, or technology). However, unlike the University of Stuttgart it is not a TU9 University.

Yes, students can change their course at HFT Stuttgart. For that, they can either apply for a higher semester or submit a course change request. Consulting the academic advisor before applying is advised. The change requires approval from the Dean of Studies at the university.
