Living expense in Switzerland can differ on basis of duration, location and standard of living that one choose to pursue.

Per Numbeo, avg monthly living cost for single person in Switzerland is about CHF 1,446 (INR 1.68 L). While same for family of 4 cost about CHF 5,295 (INR 6.16 L)

This include cost of- food, rent, travel, utilities, sports and entertainment, etc.

No. While public universities in Switzerland offer education at affordable costs for international students, they are not free as such. 

Students have to pay a tuition fee for their studies, which typically ranges between CHF 450-2,100 (INR 48.4 K-INR 2.26 L) per semester.
