There are various ways in which applying to Les Roches Global Hospitality Education is different from applying to other Swiss universities:

1. It is less competitive than most of the universities of Switzerland having an high acceptance rate of 90 percentage.
2. It specializes itself in hotel management and hospitality which is different from most other universities of Switzerland.

Eth Zurich, also known as Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, offers admission for Bachelor of Science and Master of Science programs in the fields of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Engineering Sciences, Natural Sciences and Mathematics and System-oriented Natural Sciences. For undergraduate ETH Zurich admissions, one need to submit High School leaving certificate, original transcripts and German language proficiency score of Level C1. For graduate admissions, one would need a bachelor’s degree in a related field with a GRE score and a minimum IELTS score of 7.0 or an TOEFL iBT score of 100.

Based on the ratio of admissions to applications, the Les Roches Global Hospitality Education acceptance rate stands at 90%. Since, the stats are on the higher end, we can conclude that Les Roches is a not a very competitive university to get in, as it admits more than half of the applicants. Applying to other Swiss universities is not the same as applying to EPFL. There are various reasons why this is the case:

Eligibility: EPFL has varied requirements for eligibility depending on the program. For example, consecutive Master's programs require a minimum average grade of 4.5 for the whole Bachelor's degree.
