Per Numbeo, the average monthly cost of living for a single person in Switzerland is around CHF 1,446 (INR 1.55 L), while the same for a family of 4 costs about CHF 5,295 (INR 5.7 L)

No. While public universities in Switzerland offer education at affordable costs for international students, they are not free as such. 

Students have to pay a tuition fee for their studies, which typically ranges between CHF 450-2,100 (INR 48.4 K-INR 2.26 L) per semester.
