Life at Great Lakes is awesome. Great Lakes is situated 40 km away from Chennai city. The event is conducted throughout the year by various clubs in the college. Library cards are provided to us through which we can access all the books in the library. They do have sports events in our college, like cricket tournaments, volleyball etc. Students get a four-sharing room with an attached bathroom and food facilities included, with fees 6500 per head. Wi-Fi facility is provided. A gym, indoor games, table tennis.

As per the NIRF report 2023, out of 156 MSc graduates 93 were placed during 2022 placements. Earlier 105 out of 191 MSc students were placed during 2021 placements. Looking at the past three years' statistics (2020 to 2022), a declining trend was noticed in the number of MSc students placed. A fluctuating trend was observed in the placement rate of UG (3-year) and MSc courses from 2020 to 2022 drives. As per the report, during 2022 placements, 451 UG (3-year) students were placed out of the 740 graduates. In MSc, 93 out of 156 students were placed.
