Yes, you are eligible. Many of the private/public schools have also made CTET certificate compulsory as the eligibility criteria for the selection as a teacher.

Yes, your qualification is sufficient to be employed as teacher in government schools provided that you have cleared any entrance or eligibility test (if organised by that state or central government). I would suggest for further promotions or for high salaried teacher job pursue any master degree. Any specialisation in any particular field will also get weightage. Smart classes are now becoming integral part of our education system.

You can apply for PGT.
Eligibility-
Post Graduate Teacher requires Masters degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned or related subjects and B.Ed or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
So it is important that you pursue B.Ed. Eligibility conditions are:
(a) Bachelors degree with 50% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+3 or 11+2+2 pattern, or with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+2 or 11+3 pattern
(b) Having studied at least two subjects at the Bachelors degree level, to be later taken as school teaching subjects
