Hello Husensab,
There are some criteria in education field, if you are done with your Master's degree, then surely you are eligible for work as assistant professor in some private colleges. But, when you are clear competitive exams like NET/SLET, you are eligible to work as an assistant professor in private and Government College, depends upon it's vacancy and work experience. After clearing NET with some years of work experience, you are eligible for assistant professor in government colleges. Ph.D is mandatory for professor level. All the Best for your future.

Hi Pallavi,
To become lecturer, you need to clear UGC NET exam. By doing B.Ed you can become a teacher in some schools or coaching institutes.

For lectureship, you have to complete at least M.Sc, and you have to give UGC NET exam. Then, you get to teach in college, or you can do Ph.D after completing that. Regards.

Hi,
Eligibilty for KSOU B.Ed:
Candidates passed in Bachelors Degree should have 50% marks
Students, who have completed two years of service, provided he/she continues to work in a recognized Institution at any level (like Primary School, High School, etc.,) even at the time of admission if selected. They must produce a Service Certificate to that effect from the Head of the Institution where they are working.
So, you are eligible for this course.

Yes, as per the UGC norms, it is mandatory to qualify the NET exam to be eligible for lectureship in university or colleges, The NET exam is held for determination for assistant professor, for junior research fellowship and to pursue Ph.D. To be eligible for NET exam, you must fulfill all eligibility criteria for the exam. You must have completed the post-graduation degree with more than 55% marks. The age must be below 30 year for NET JRF, while no age limit for NET Lectureship. Hello Jasper, If you are interested in teaching then NET is a good option. UGC NET and CSIR NET exam are held for assistant professor posts in universities or colleges, for JRF awards and to pursue Ph.D. The minimum eligibility to apply for UGC NET exam is that candidates must have completed the post graduation degree from recognised university with more than 55% marks. As you have completed PG, if you fulfill the age criteria, you can apply for UGC NET exam for your post-graduation subject or its related subjects.

You can pursue both the courses simultaneously from different universities. But, it would be better to first focus on one course and then take up another course. If you can manage the studies of both the courses together then you can do them.
