To become a lecturer, you have to qualify in NET examination. To appear for examination minimum required eligibility is candidate must have passed Master's degree with at least 55%. To get appointed in state government colleges, you need to appear for SET examination.

Having an appropriate degree:

  1. Teaching requires different levels of degree depending upon the level of middle or high school teaching. Primary school teaching requires Ted. (Diploma in teaching education), a 2-year Diploma programme having a 12th pass as a minimum qualification.
