There must be more than 60% to be an eligible candidate to appear in the entrance test to become a teacher in the government sector. However, you can teach with lower marks in private schools/colleges only if you are experienced and capable enough. Go ahead.

The best post graduate degree will be MA in education to become a teacher in a government college. After MA, you can go for CBSE NET entrance test.

You can go for a short term certificate course of Indira Gandhi National University. It is a 6 months certificate course of teaching mathematics to primary school children. B.Ed and B.PEd are other options.
