It is strange to see that they have not updated you about photo requirements at the time of form submission. Now, you should see if there is an option to update the photo on their website.

Either go for government exams that will be better. Otherwise, you are going for corporates as well with some such renowned companies or else want to go for lecturer then also that will be good option for that you need to give JRF etc. exams.

You can apply for UGC NET Exam in the subject, that you have studied in your post-graduation. As you said that you have completed your Masters with History subject, then you can take your exam in History subject. Along with this, you should have minimum marks 55% (Gen) or 50% (ST /SC/PWD/OBC/Transgenders) in your post-graduation.
