Hello, If you have completed Masters in the Commerce you can prepare for the UGC NET Management and UGC NET Commerce subject, the National Eligibility Test is mainly conducted in more than 80 subjects related to the Arts, Commerce and Humanities including the subjects you can prepare for. The National Eligibility Test dates are out as the UGC NET Exam is to be conducted from 9 to 23 December. You can prepare for the NET Exam. Mainly you can apply in the Subject in which you have completed the Masters programme. Yes, you can appear for UGC NET environmental science according to your post-graduation subject. Make sure that you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks if you belong to General category or if you belong to OBC/SC/ST/PwD category then you will get the relaxation in percentage of aggregate marks. According to guidelines of NET exam there is an age criteria also, i.e. if you want to apply for NET JRF then your age must not exceed 30 years. For assistant professor this criteria is not applicable.
Application Fee for General category 1000 Rs., OBC 500 Rs. & ST/SC candidates 250/-. You will need a Debit card/ Credit Card for Payment of application fees if you are filling the form at your own. As per the latest notifications, NTA will start the UGC NET online form submission process from 1st September 2018 and last date will be 30th September 2018.
