Hi,
The course is offered in 2 ways. The 3-4 year duration B.P.Ed. Course is offered to those students who have qualified their class 12th examinations with a minimum of at least 50% marks. Apart from this, a 1-2 year duration course is also offered to those students who have completed their graduation. These students should have done their graduation from a recognized university. So, yes you can continue with this course.
