Candidates will be able to  check their allotted exam center details through the PTET admit card 2026. The hall ticket will consist of the exam center details such as candidate's name, address, and reporting time. It is advised to visit the exam center location a day before the exam to avoid any last-minute confusion. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the exam hall, so candidates should reach the center well in advance.

The cut-off marks of PTET are the minimum marks which is required by candidates to qualify for the counselling process. The PTET cut-off depends on various factors such as:

• Number of candidates appearing for the exam.

• Difficulty level of the paper.

• Total number of available seats.

• Reservation criteria for different categories.

• The cut-off marks vary for different colleges, and candidates must check the previous years' trends to estimate their chances of admission.

As per the officia notification, the PTET 2026 exam pattern consists of a single paper with four sections:

• Mental Ability (50 questions, 150 marks)

• Teaching Attitude & Aptitude Test (50 questions, 150 marks)

• General Awareness (50 questions, 150 marks)

• Language Proficiency (English/Hindi) (50 questions, 150 marks)

• The time duration of the exam is of 3 hours duration, with a total of 200 questions carrying 600 marks. There is no negative marking.

The admit card of the PTET 2025 exam will be released around 10–15 days before the exam. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket from the official website by entering their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth. The admit card contains details such as the exam date, time, venue, and important instructions. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the exam center.

The expected minimum qualifying marks for PTET 2025 are:

• General Category: 50% (100 out of 200)

• SC/ST/OBC/PWD: 45% (90 out of 200)

These marks may vary depending on the difficulty level of the exam and the number of applicants.

As per the official notification, there are no restriction on the number of attempts for PTET. Candidates can appear for the exam as many times as they want, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. Since the exam is conducted annually, candidates who do not qualify in one attempt can try again the following year.

The exam body prescribes the PTET 2025 application fee and as per the past year facts, the application fee is expected to be around ?500 to ?600 for all categories. While fillign the application form, candidates must pay the fee online using debit/credit cards, net banking, or UPI. The fee is non-refundable, so candidates should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying.

If candidate forgets their PTET 2026 login credentials, they can retrieve them by:

• Visiting the official PTET website

• Clicking on "Forgot Password" or "Forgot Application Number"

• Entering registered email ID and phone number

• Following the instructions sent via email/SMS to reset the credentials
  

However, candidates must ensure that they note down the login details and keep them safe for future use.

Yes, the exam body will open the application correction window after the last date of the registration. During the PTET 2025 application correction window, candidates will be able to edit specific details and not overall changes. Corrections will be accepted in fields such as name, date of birth, and category may not be allowed. It is advisable to double-check all the details before submitting the application form to avoid any issues later.

To successfully submit the PTET application form 2025, candidates will have to arrange the following documents and upload their scanned copies - 

• Scanned passport-size photograph

• Scanned signature

• Graduation/post-graduation marksheet (if applicable)

• Category certificate (if applicable)

• Domicile certificate (if required)

• A valid ID proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving License)
