No, as per the official notification, there is no minus marking in the PTET exam. The PTET 2026 does not have a negative marking encouraging candidates to attempt all questions without having to worry to loose any marks. This will allow them to maximize their scoring chances by making educated guesses where needed.

Candidates must carry the following items to the PTET 2026 exam center:

  • Printed copy of the PTET admit card

  • A valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)

The PTET 2025 reservation policy follows the guidelines set by the Rajasthan government. The approximate category-wise reservation is as follows:

  • SC: 16%

  • ST: 12%

  • OBC: 21%

  • EWS: 10%

  • MBC: 5%

  • Women: 20% (including 8% for widows and divorced women)

  • PWD: 3%

  • Ex-servicemen: 5%

The PTET scores are valid for the current academic year in which the exam is being held. For example with he scores of 2026 scores, candidates will not be able to take admisison inthe 2027 session. Candidates who qualify in PTET 2026 can seek admission to BEd programs in Rajasthan for the 2026-27 academic session. If a candidate does not take admission in the given year, they will need to appear for PTET again in the next session to apply for BEd admissions.
