You can surely study M.P.Ed after D.P.Ed in India for which most of the universities require you to have BA or BSc with minimum marks along with your D.P.Ed degree. Some colleges can only take B.P.Ed freshers. Plus, you will also have to clear relevant entrance exams.

No, it is not necessary to do a D.P.Ed to become a PET teacher in India. The minimum qualification required for a PET teacher job in most schools is a Bachelor's degree in any subject followed by a B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education). • M.A. in Education with specialisation in Physical Education: Offered by some universities but might require some additional bridge courses.
  • Postgraduate Diplomas in specific areas: Can go for either Sports Management or Fitness Management or Yoga Education,  etc.

Candidates should have a minimum aggregate mark of 50%-60% in 12th grade. The requirements for earning a Diploma in Physical Education (DPEd) changes depending on the university. The majority of colleges however demand a minimum of 50% in the 12th grade in any field. Candidates may also need to have passed a physical fitness test according to some colleges.

After completing Diploma in Physical Education, one can further go for higher studies through graduation, Masters or Phd. Candidates can also work in sports administration, sports therapy, sports therapy or also start their own business.

A career in physical education teaching may be a suitable fit for you if you have a passion for education. A better career choice if you want to work with athletes is coaching or teaching fitness classes. Working in sports administration or sports journalism may be a good fit for you if you're interested in the business side of sports.
