Eligibility criteria for admission to B.Ed at Maulana Azad National Urdu University: 

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s DegreeinSciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55%marks or anyotherqualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme. Candidate should choose Urdu as a subject/language or as a Medium of Instruction 

The candidates need to qualify for both papers that are paper 1 and paper 2 in order to be eligible to qualify for the WB SET exam. The candidates have to score a minimum of 40 per cent marks (Unreserved category) and 35 per cent of marks to qualify for the WB SET exam. However, among the candidates crossing the minimum qualifying marks, the top 6 per cent of the candidates will be made qualified for the Assistant Professor.
