The qualifying marks for the CTET 2024 exam depend on the candidate's category:

  • General Category: 60% marks, translating to 90 marks out of a total of 150 marks.
  • Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC): 55% marks, translating to 82 marks out of a total of 150 marks.

It's important to note that these are the minimum qualifying marks. While qualifying for CTET is a requirement for teacher eligibility, a higher score can improve your chances of getting shortlisted for recruitment by schools.
