Yes, you are eligible for pursuing B.Ed after B.Com and MBA.
You'll be eligible to teach subjects like commerce, economics, accounts and business studies.
With B.Com and MBA you'll be only allowed to teach students upt 12th standard.
For teaching in higher classes you'll be required to have Masters qualified in a subject of yours .

The Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) is a four-year undergraduate programme in India which prepares teachers for the Foundational, Preparatory, Middle and Secondary stages of schooling.
Admission to the ITEP is done through National Common Entrance Test (NCET), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
NCET 2025 Exam Date- April 29,2025
Application Period- February 20 to March 16

Yes, can pursue primary teaching course, but you would need to complete B.Ed course in primary education. Without having a degree in B.Ed you cannot start your teaching career. A prospective candidate must satisfy particular requirements when applying for a Grade 2 TGT position in RPSC. The RPSC demands candidates who finished their BCom to have a Postgraduate qualification equivalent to their specialisation and an approved National Council of Teacher Education/Government recognised Degree or Diploma in Education ¹. You must obtain your B.Ed before starting the B.Ed since your goal is B.Ed. To pursue the role candidates need to maintain an age between 21 years old and 40 years. You can search for Grade 2 TGT recruitment notifications on the RPSC website after finishing your B.Ed degree.

Yes! If you want a government teaching job, you must clear the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) or State TET (Teacher Eligibility Test).
- If you want to teach students of Classes 1-5 (Primary Teacher – PRT)then you have Clear CTET Paper 1.
- If you want to teach students of Classes 6-8 (Upper Primary – TGT) then you need to Clear CTET Paper 2 (after D.El.Ed + Graduation).
- State TET exams like UPTET, Bihar TET, MP TET, etc. are mandatory for state government teaching jobs.
