The following requirements apply to international students enrolled in the Master of Science (MSc) in Materials Science Engineering degree offered by the Technical University of Darmstadt:
1. Prerequisites academic: Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science or an equivalent degree from an authorized university. A solid basis in the fundamentals of materials Science is required of candidates, including an awareness of metals, semiconductors, functional ceramics, and physical chemistry, including quantum mechanics. The degree needs to be on par with TU Darmstadt's B.Sc. in Materials Science.
