No. Due to the difference between India's 12-year and Germany's 13-year school systems, Indian students generally need either one year of study at a recognised Indian university or a Studienkolleg (foundation year) with a passed Feststellungsprüfung before applying for a German Bachelor's programme.

The TU Darmstadt admissions are very competitive and Indian students need to maintain a good GPA of around 2.8 GPA for good chances of admission. As per the new rule, an APS Certificate is mandatory for Indian students and for the same, they need to sit in a test called the dMAT (aptitude test).
Look at the other important admission requirements for TU Darmstadt -
- University entrance qualification (Studienkolleg may be there)
- English/German language proficiency
- Academic transcripts

Yes, it may be hard for Indian students to get into TU Darmstadt as its acceptance rate is around 56%. As per some other sources, it may also go as low as 29% too.
The TU Darmstadt admissions rely heavily on the previous GPA conversion to the German grading system. The German scale is a little different from the Indian one where 1.0 is the best and 4.0 is a pass.
