Greetings,

The cost of B.Tech courses in School of Engineering and Technology vary between INR 7.4 Lacs to INR 16 Lacs ( total fees). It totally depends on the specialisation of the course. Like B.Tech CSE fees is little higher than the fees of B.Tech Civil Engineering. College provides many scholarship to students with different criteria which is helpful for the students who come from middle class family.

Best Regards.

So, Yes ! There are many colleges under 'School of Engineering and Technology' which is good as Presidency University, Bangalore •

Hope it helps.

Assuming, you are talking about B.Tech in Public colleges, Presidency is more expensive and has a fee struture in the range of INR 2LPA - INR 4 LPA while in general, SETs are more likely to be in the range of INR 30,000 - INR 1 Lakhs per annum. This does not answer the question asked as there is a huge assumption that you are talking about BTech in public colleges. The answer varies significantly based on multiple factors like the stream chosen, hostel and other facilities, categories, the specific institutions selected, and even gender. Therefore, a more specific question is to be asked including the above mentioned details.

There are several high ranking institutes in Banglore, but Banglore cannot be said to be the best in this field as there are multiple highly competitive institutions that perform very well due to variety in streams available, specialisation courses, industrial connections, higher quality education system, highly qualified faculty etc. Even then, Bangalore houses numerous well-regarded engineering and technology schools, contributing significantly to the overall national engineering education landscape. The student should actually conduct thorough research on their preferences, their interests, their compatibility, etc. to choose the mo

SET is a term related to the instituitions that offer professional Engineering courses and hence is a broad label. Without specifying the name of the instituition, and other details like stream of the selected student etc., it is very difficult to answer this question. Also the fact that the cut off criteria and admission process may be unique to the instituition does not help in answering this question. Most of the engineering colleges accept students with qualifications in entrance exams like in Kerala, KEAM is very important and also all India exams like JEE MAIN and JEE ADVANCED, are important in the admission process.

Generally speaking, Schools of Engineering and Technology have good placement percentages due to the demand for Engineers in multiple fields of almost all industries. But other than that, it is impossible to say with adefinite answer. You need to be more specific in asking, like the specific university of the instituition the SET belongs to, the branch of Engineering you are pursuing, specializations etc. The placement percentage largely depends on the instituition and university and therefore that information is necessary. It may also depend on the student demographics like performance, passout rate, attendance etc.
