Yes. You can give a try. According to first counselling list of thapar, 60 score can get you in your 2-3rd preferred branch. But undoubtedly, you can get admission in thapar. Visit: www.thapar.edu.

Electronics from NIT (J). Look, first of all NIT has more reputation than thapar. Though Teaching of thapar is more better than NIT, but Thapar's standard is decreasing day by day. Plus, fees gap between two is so high!
I would suggest, NITJ.

Yes! Undoubtedly. Last year, at the end admissions were made open. Means, if a student hasn't filled thapar form, he/she can get admission in vacant branches. So, yes. Ofcourse. You can take admission. You don't need to wait for last round. You will get before that as per first counselling list. Visit www.thapar.edu for more information. Regards.

Honestly, no one leaves CSE branch seat. If there's any seat left, students from other branches will take it. As you haven't given JEE, there's a very little chance to get admission in a branch of your own choice.
But yes, last year, at the end, admission to Thapar was open to all. You could get a seat in the branches available at that time.
Usually, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil have some seats left.
Rest, visit www.thapar.edu for more information.

In my opinion, you should drop a year to get a deep knowledge of your subject, so that you can easily get a top NIT or IIT. Also, after that, you need not worry about your college if you don't get a top NIT because you would have a satisfaction that you know.

If you can work for one more year with full dedication and motivation from people around you, then I would suggest take a drop and give your 100%. In the end, luck matters a lot. All the best!

Hi,
In my opinion, you should go for Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, as they provide better education, curriculum and practical learning to the students. Also if you're a curious and hard working student who is willing to invent and innovate, the institute will support you and also might fund you if your idea is really great and innovative. And this is the best part of being at TIET (Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology). Also TIET has been awarded with many rankings in various foremost University Rankings for its research and quality education. So I would recommend you to opt for Thapar Institute but you need make

Hi, In my opinion you should go for Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology as it has better curriculum, quality education, and it as good as IIT and even older than IIT. The institute has been awarded with good ranks in the University Rankings for their better work and research. If your compare these two for me Thapar Institute is a clear win.
