Thapar University has declared that every prospective student must have scored at least 60% marks in PM and one of C or B. However, it is advisable to have a look at their website for detailed information.

Thapar University is one of the top universities for engineering courses. Civil Engineering is also good in this college with good placement records. Also, the faculty and study environment of this college is very good with good infrastructure.

Thapar University commands premium in market. So, if you are getting admission there, do not hesitate. Any branch will do. Civil or CSE both are good.

With no single thought, you should opt for Thapar University. It is better than Manipal in every manner. It is one of the oldest university with highly trained faculty and staff which is always there to help students. The infrastructure is amazing and beautiful. The hostel location, playground, etc. is extremely good. Placement cell is very good. Big companies like Maruti, TATA are a part of it. Thapar is nationally recognized college and you need much more than what you mentioned to get admission in that college. With such good marks in 12th, what happened in JEE Mains?

Hi Ankush,
6.5 is a very poor score to apply to German universities. They require grades as high as 8 out of 10. You should look for average universities in less competitive countries like Poland, Norway, Ireland etc. If you can manage high funds you can check options in Australia and New Zealand.
