The Juilliard School is reviewed as a fair choice for International students for the following reasons:
Diversity: At Juilliard, the majority of students are White, with a tiny percentage being foreign residents. There is a lot of racial variety in the school. People of color or minorities make up 61% of the student body. There are a lot of out of state students with 88% of the student body residing outside of New York or from other countries.

Living on campus at The Juilliard School: Housing costs including meal plan are estimated at around $22,410. The close-knit environment allows students to form close relationships with professors and peers. Students living on campus can have full access to college amenities. Safety is better than off-campus housing.
Living off campus: Housing charges off campus are around $14,400 and meal costs are around $6,080. Apart from this students have to pay for electricity and other utilities as well. The applicant has to fill out the Indian Government visa application form available online.
- Original passport valid for a minimum of 6 months and have at least 3 blank visa pages.
- A photocopy of the data page of the passport.

Deadlines for students applying to The Juilliard School are as follows:
- BFA or MFA in Acting: Apply by November 1 (prescreened applicants) and December 1 (non-prescreened applicants)
- AD in Opera Studies: Apply by November 1
- AD in Playwriting: Apply by November 1
- BFA in Dance: Apply by December 1
- All other Music degrees: Apply by December 1
Generally, The Juilliard School does not accept late applications but if there are still openings for auditions after all timely candidates have been scheduled, the Office of Admissions will take late applications into consideration.

It will be quite difficult for an average Indian student to join The Juilliard School because of some obvious reasons. The acceptance rate of The Juilliard School is 10%. It is a renowned institution for performing arts and getting into Juilliard is highly competitive. Although it does not require any SAT or ACT scores for admission it does require outstanding artistic skills. Students have to give some pre-screening materials online, and then only shortlisted applicants are called for auditions. It is a pre-requisite for admission to the college.
