It's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in learning more and more. There are different dynamics at work. Earning for living and supporting family. If any college in the place you are working is offering part time PG, you should go for it. Then you can register for Ph.D. Another great way of learning is expanding one's horizon. Here I would like to advise you that please download brochure cum application form of IGNOU. They have large number of courses in diverse fields. You can choose the one that fascinates you.

To get into college like NIE, and if you want to join the Civil branch. Try to get distinction and above in PU board but KCET marks is considered 50% along with with PU 50%.
Also your category depends on alot to get a seat. Here are
2018 engineering cutoff for civil:
Round 1
GM - 15400
3AG - 16150
3BG - 16146
2AG - 20236
2BG - 24699
1AG - 18464
SCG - 29816
STG - 22105
But whatever is your category if are writing KCET in the year 2020
try to focus on getting good marks.
