TISSNET Preparation

Preparing for the TISS entrance test syllabus will not be as tough as you think if you are already preparing for other Management entrance examinations like CAT, XAT or GMAT. 

The only thing required is consistency for one month, syllabus is quite similar to other entrance examinations for management programs. 

Here are a few things to keep in mind to cover your TISSNET Syllabus in one month : 

• Solve the previous year's question papers, there is never a major change in the pattern of questions. You should solve at least past 5 year question papers to be familiar with the time management and question framing strategy in TISSNET Examination. 

• Solve as many mock tests as you can. No amount of theory based learning will be worth it if you have not practiced to retain it all during the examination. Join a mock test program with any leading institutes for mock tests. 

It's not impossible, You will rock it, all you need is consistency, and you're good to go. Good luck. 

TISSNET General Awareness section difficulty level stays between moderate to difficult every year. To prepare for this section candidates must device strategic study plan by staying updated about the current events and static GK. To improve performance in General Awareness section of TISSNET candidates must consider the following factors:

1. Read newspapers andmagazines on daily basis. Reading newspapers like The Hindu will help candidates in gaining insights into current events and improve comprehension skills.
2. Utilise social media applications by following the journalists or news channel for real time updates about the events happwning around. 
3. Join discussion grpups on social media platform. Engage in conversations with other aspirants or people and exchage information.
4. candidates must ensure to take notes of the important events, facts and figures.
5. Take ample number of mock tests or solve previous year question papers to become familiar with the type of questions asked in this section.
6. Stay consistent in reading the newspaper and magazines.
